Below you will find important information and protocol for all upcoming sessions.
Please ensure to read all information prior to scheduling a session.
Policies & Protocol:
Reservations are required for all sessions. 24 hours notice is required for all session cancellations.
Please only bring exact items needed for your lesson. Preferably come ready to go, as with the schedule blocks to allow for proper cleaning and sanitation, anytime changing/bathroom breaks will cut into your lesson time. If a Semi Private, you must be ready to begin when the warm up begins, or you will not be permitted into the session.
Only closed bottles of water are allowed. No open beverages at all, including coffee mugs, travel mugs, dunkin cups, water bottles with straws etc. Bottles of water are available in studio for $1.
If you are sick with any type of symptoms (including allergies), have been in direct contact with someone that is sick with a contagious illness/virus, have a fever within 72 hours of your session, you must cancel your appointment.
Participants are asked to wait in their vehicle until the time of their appointment. (Please do not come early, as you will not be permitted into the building until your scheduled time.)
The door will be opened for you at the time of your scheduled appointment.
Participants will need to go to the bathroom to wash their hands (for at least 20 seconds with warm water & soap that is provided)
Ensure all paper towels go in the trash (Do not flush and Do not leave on the floor)
The studio door will be open, so you do not have to touch any handles to enter.
Upon entry, you will be asked a series of questions required by the state (ex: Have you been in close contact, within the last 14 days, with a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19? - Are you experiencing a cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, loss of smell or taste, or diarrhea? - Have you had a fever or temp of 100.0 or higher in the last 72 hours? etc.)
During check in you will also be asked to provide your phone number, so we have it to attach to the session log for the states required contact tracing.
You will be asked to sanitize your hands (using the hands free sanitizer prior to beginning your lesson, as well as throughout your lesson)
Visible signage is available as a reminder.
Social Distancing:
Apparatuses have been arranged 14 ft apart, with visual markings in place so participants are 14 ft apart throughout each lesson. Spotting will be extremely limited and handled on an individual basis.
Please note: If an instructor is comfortable with spotting an individual through an approved transition, in addition to a mask, the instructor must wear gloves and dispose of the gloves immediately after the spot. (Both Student & Instructor must sanitize their hands, as well as the apparatus prior to moving on in a lesson after a spot has been given.)
Face Coverings:
Masks are required for All instructors and All participants. If it is unsafe for you to wear a mask due to a health condition, please contact us to see if a private outdoor session can be scheduled. To ensure the safety of all participants face coverings must be worn indoors, regardless the distance of apparatuses.
Ventilation:
We have a brand new HVAC system that Per CDC guidelines will be running 24/7, as well as all doors open for additional ventilation between sessions. Keeping the HVAC system running will ensure our space is ventilated appropriately. Increasing the flow of air through HVAC systems will help remove or dilute the virus-laden droplets from the indoor air. We also have doors open so the outside fresh air can filter in through the breaks between participants.
Sanitation:
The entire studio including all apparatuses, hard surfaces, floor, handles, knobs, seats, toilet, dispensers will be cleaned immediately following each session.
If you wish to use a mat during your warm up, please bring a yoga mat with you.
MCDF has established thorough cleaning protocols for our studio and all MCDF Staff, Instructors & Instructors in training have been trained in proper social distancing policies, as well as hygiene and sanitation protocols.
Youth will need to be dropped off and picked up, and no one is allowed to bring a guest/children to wait for them. I do not have a waiting area in this studio and can not have anyone waiting in hallways. For parents of youth - If you are dropping off and not waiting in your car, please ensure you are back to pick up your child no later than 5 minutes prior to their session end time.
We are counting on all members, package holders and participants to work with us to ensure our studio is able to remain open, so please, please, please be honest if you’ve been sick or feel sick and do not attend sessions until you are better.
This list will be updated as we receive additional information through the reopening phases. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact: MCDFPole@gmail.com
We look forward to seeing you all soon and getting back on track with our journeys safely! <3
